Cheryl Saenz is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with over 23 years of experience as a licensed professional and more than 30 years in the field of child development. She has spent decades supporting children in school-based settings and over 15 years in private practice—her preferred environment for delivering individualized, family-centered care.
Cheryl is deeply passionate about helping children grow, develop, and reach their fullest potential. She specializes in early childhood development and has extensive experience working with children with special needs. She is trained in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), equipping children with effective and meaningful communication skills.
Cheryl strongly believes in empowering parents to become confident advocates for their children. She views collaboration with families as a cornerstone of successful therapy and long-term developmental growth. She finds great fulfillment in witnessing each child’s progress and celebrating every milestone along the way.
Outside of her professional life, Cheryl is a proud mother of two and grandmother of two. She cherishes spending time with her family and being outdoors.
