Wendy Leon, CF-SLP
Clinical Fellow, Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
Wendy Leon is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow who is passionate about helping children build confidence, connect with others, and develop meaningful communication skills. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from California State University, Northridge, and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Delaware Valley University.
With over five years of experience supporting children with diverse developmental, behavioral, and communication needs, Wendy brings a strong foundation in child development and family-centered care. Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, she worked as a Teacher Aide and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where she supported children across educational and therapeutic settings, including many children on the autism spectrum. These experiences strengthened her understanding of behavior, learning, and communication, and deepened her passion for helping children find their voice.
Throughout her clinical training, Wendy has provided services in both school-based and private practice settings. She has experience working with children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), speech sound disorders, language delays, AAC users, and students with a variety of communication needs. As a bilingual English-Spanish clinician, she is committed to providing culturally responsive, evidence-based care and values collaboration with families to support communication growth beyond the therapy room.
Wendy is a mother of three who loves spending time with her family, enjoys salsa dancing, and exploring new restaurants. She values creating meaningful connections with others and brings that same warmth and enthusiasm to her work with children and families.
