Molly is a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a strong commitment to supporting children and families through meaningful, individualized communication opportunities. After graduating from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences in 2019, Molly began her career as a paraeducator in a non-public school setting before becoming an SLPA in 2022. Since 2018, she has gained valuable experience across clinic, home, and school-based environments, supporting clients ages 2 to 22.

Molly has a particular passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and helping children discover accessible and authentic ways to express themselves. Her experience in non-public schools has provided her with opportunities to support a variety of communication needs, including social communication, self-advocacy, fluency, articulation, and receptive and expressive language development. She also brings a strong background in early intervention, supporting young children and families during critical stages of communication growth.

 

Molly believes that independent and accessible communication are two of the most important things in life. She has seen firsthand how essential connection and enjoyment are for learning. Molly is passionate about providing strength-based, child-led, and family-centered therapy that honors each child’s unique communication style and abilities.

 

Outside of work, Molly enjoys reading, baking, creating art, staying active, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
